Marline Monestime, MA, CFM

 

Marline Monestime joins the Haitian American Professionals Coalition, Inc. with over 10 years of experience in business operations and organizational management. Marline is well versed in budget and grant management, workforce program implementation and coordination, and community engagement strategies.

 

Marline serves as Vice-Chair on the Executive Board of Directors for the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, Marline serves the local business community through marketing and support services to help small businesses sustain and grow. Marline also serves as a Board Member on the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County supporting programming and development for affordable housing, homeownership, and creating strong, vibrant neighborhoods.

 

Marline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administration, Master of Arts in Disaster Management, and is a Certified Floodplain Manager. Fueling her love for community advocacy, Marline is also a graduate of two Catalyst Miami leadership programs; Community Leadership on the Environment, Advocacy, and Resilience (CLEAR) and Housing Equity, Advocacy, and Leadership (HEAL). She is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Planning Association and Association of State Floodplain Managers.
