HAPC provides an opportunity for the Haitian Communities in the U.S. and Haiti to grow personally and professionally. HAPC strives toward the following social, health, legal, and economic goals for Haitians.
The primary activity planned by HAPC is to develop and implement effective interventions that are culturally competent, and appropriate to address major health, legal, academic and socio-economic and issues affecting Haitian-Americans in the United States and Haitians in Haiti.
Strategize to develop and implement effective interventions that address major health, legal, academic, infrastructure and socio-economic issues affecting Haitians in the U.S. and abroad.
Research community conditions to identify gaps and disparities to effectively advocate at the policy level for Haitians to access services.
Promote community connectedness and civic participation via active collaboration and effective partnerships.
Plan and implement community and humanitarian projects in the United States and abroad; Develop partnership and strengthen relationships with other organizations.
Our primary objective is to increase access and/or availability of health, legal, academic, and social services for Haitian Amercians at home and abroad.
